The Reliant Model 2300 Pond Monitoring System is the next generation in pond dissolved oxygen continuous monitoring and aeration control. The same design team that perfected the highly successful Royce Technologies pond Monitoring Control design in 1992 has brought that proven system design up to the 21st century.

The Model 2300 system again consists of a shore mounted control module, with back-lit digital display, that can monitor all the ponds that are being powered by the same power panel as that of the Model 2300 control module. The Reliant Model 20 galvanic DO sensor is again located in a low-profile, convenient buoy that is at least 300 feet out into the pond, measuring DO where fish are, not on the shoreline.

The primary Model 2300 Control Module utilizes a back-lit, multi-line digital display that is simple to read from a distance away (from the cab of a passing truck). This module controls the sampling pump in the buoy and receives and transmits buoy DO and temperature data to the digital display and the serial output port for data transfer by radio.

If the grower desires to automatically control his aerators in the pond being monitored by the Model 2300 buoy, he will add the Model 2300 Switch Control Module (SCM) to the system. The SCM can automatically turn on/off as many aerators as desired in each pond. Each SCM is configured specifically for the ponds being monitored by one Model 2300 Control Module, so aerator switches can be added only as required. The SCM also has the option of adding amp monitoring for each aerator.

The Model 2300 Buoy utilizes a unique DO/temperature collection node that transfers that data via a proven industrial grade wireless matrix technology. The node is powered by it's own internal miniature battery, which has a life expectancy of at least 20 years. The sensor used is the Reliant Model 20 galvanic DO/temperature sensor. There are no chemical or mechanical cleaners used in this buoy, the only moving part is a waterproof, long life, brush-less sampling pump that runs for under 4 minutes every 15 minutes. The Model 20 sensor re calibrates itself once per hour, so optimum DO?Temperature accuracy is continually maintained.
